Documentation
Everything you need to set up Micro-Host, sync your calendars, and manage your short-term rentals from one app.
Getting Started
Create your account and get Micro-Host running in minutes.
Download the app
Install Micro-Host from the Google Play Store. An iOS version is coming soon.
Create your account
Sign up with your email address. No credit card required — you get a 14-day free trial automatically.
Add your first property
Tap Properties in the bottom navigation, then + Add Property. Fill in the name, address, and property type. You can add more properties at any time.
Connect your booking platforms
Link Airbnb, Booking.com, or Google Calendar using iCal. See the Syncing Bookings section for step-by-step instructions.
Adding Properties
Each property you manage gets its own calendar, conflict tracking, and guest portal.
Property details
When adding a property, fill in the following fields:
- Name — a short label used across the app (e.g. "Apt Kolonaki").
- Address — used in the guest check-in portal and for your own reference.
- Property Registration Number — optional. Used for local compliance reporting.
- Color — choose a color for easy identification on the calendar and timeline.
You can edit or delete a property at any time from the Properties screen. Deleting a property also removes all its associated bookings and calendar connections.
Syncing Bookings
Connect Airbnb, Booking.com, and Google Calendar to automatically import your bookings via iCal.
- 1. Go to airbnb.com → your listing → Manage listing.
- 2. Open Availability → Sync calendars.
- 3. Under Export calendar, copy the iCal URL.
- 4. In Micro-Host, open your property → Calendar Sources → + Add iCal → paste the URL.
- 1. Log in to extranet.booking.com → select your property.
- 2. Go to Calendar → Sync calendars.
- 3. Click Export calendar and copy the iCal link.
- 4. In Micro-Host, open your property → Calendar Sources → + Add iCal → paste the URL.
- 1. Open calendar.google.com → find your calendar in the left sidebar.
- 2. Click the three-dot menu next to it → Settings and sharing.
- 3. Scroll to Integrate calendar and copy the Secret address in iCal format.
- 4. In Micro-Host, open your property → Calendar Sources → + Add iCal → paste the URL.
iCal feeds update on a schedule (typically every few hours). New bookings may take up to 6 hours to appear in Micro-Host depending on how quickly the platform publishes updates.
Daily Dashboard
The Today screen gives you a real-time snapshot of what needs your attention right now.
Needs Attention
Cards flagged here require action today — imminent check-ins, check-outs happening now, or booking conflicts. Each card shows the guest name, property, and a one-tap action (e.g. send check-in info).
Coming Up
Upcoming arrivals and departures for the next 7 days, sorted by date. Tap any card for full booking details.
Conflict badge
If Micro-Host detects a double-booking on any property, a red badge appears at the top of the screen. Tap it to jump directly to the conflict details.
Conflict Detection
Micro-Host automatically scans for overlapping bookings on the same property across all connected platforms.
A conflict is flagged when two bookings on the same property overlap on at least one night. Same-day back-to-back bookings (checkout in the morning, check-in in the evening) are not flagged as conflicts.
When a conflict is detected, you will see a notification on the Today screen. Open the conflict card to see both overlapping bookings side by side, including their source platform, dates, and guest names.
Micro-Host does not modify or cancel bookings — you'll need to resolve the conflict directly on the relevant platform (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.).
Conflict detection runs automatically every time your iCal feeds are synced. You can also trigger a manual sync from the property settings screen.
Guest Check-in Portal
Give every guest a personalized link with everything they need before they arrive.
What the portal includes
- WiFi network name and password
- Check-in instructions (door codes, key pickup, etc.)
- House rules
- Local tips and recommendations
- Emergency contacts
Setting up the portal
- 1. Open a property → tap Check-in Portal.
- 2. Fill in your WiFi details, house rules, and any other information your guests need.
- 3. Tap Save. The portal is now ready to share for any booking on this property.
Sharing with a guest
- 1. Open a booking from the Today screen or Calendar.
- 2. Tap Send check-in info.
- 3. Choose WhatsApp, Viber, or SMS. The message with the portal link is pre-filled and ready to send.
Each portal link is unique to the booking and protected by a token — guests cannot access each other's portals. Links do not expire automatically.
Calendar & Timeline
Two views to help you visualize occupancy across all your properties.
Monthly Calendar
A traditional month-view calendar with color-coded booking blocks per property. Use the property filter to focus on a single rental. Occupancy percentage for the selected month is shown at the top.
Gantt Timeline
A horizontal timeline showing all properties in rows, with bookings displayed as colored bars. Ideal for spotting gaps between bookings or verifying that two properties are free for the same period. Scroll horizontally to navigate weeks and months.
Subscription
Simple, per-property pricing with no hidden fees.
Free trial
Every new account includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start.
Pricing
After the trial, the app costs €4.99 per property per month. If you manage 3 properties, you pay €14.97/month. Properties can be added or removed at any time.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the app's Settings screen. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
